Basin Analysis Teaching Lead: Dr. Gareth Roberts This module aims to provice an integrated study of sedimentary basins from a geodynamic perspective. Introcudtion of the geophysical tools that can be used to investigate the evolution of sedimentary basins over space and time, and how these can be used to make predictions relevat to the exploration of oil and gas. Teaching sessions covers backstripping, modelling rift and flaxural basins, and application of techniques to a moden case study.
